his story

A bright life,
stolen too soon.

Henry Nowak, 18, from Chafford Hundred, Essex, was a first-year accountancy and finance student with his whole future ahead of him.

On 3 December, walking home from a night out in Southampton along Belmont Road, Henry was attacked and stabbed four times with a 21cm blade. He died at the scene.

Neighbours heard him cry out that he had been stabbed and was dying as he tried to climb a fence to escape. Police arrived within minutes, but nothing could be done to save him.

Henry was a son, a brother, a friend. He deserved to come home.
